Jimmy Clay Results

Jimmy Clay results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed New Member MICHAEL SHORT and Special Guest CONNOR LOWE to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
  • All 4-somes completed their round within 12 minutes of the group in front. Our actual finish times were about 4:45, the result of everyone waiting for Joe Q Public on almost every back nine hole. Kudos to all who played yesterday as everyone did their job to meet our Pace of Play Goal.
  • Remember….our next tournament is on Thursday, March 28. Signup deadline for this tournament is the FRIDAY before the event.

Mother Nature continued her harsh elements on us. Last week it was moisture and yesterday was a relentless wind. Fortunately it didn’t affect our Pace of Play.

  •  2nd Flight: Scott Preece (96 / -4 Points)
  • 3rd Flight: Michael Short (93 / +1 Point)

Also Special Congratulations to…..

From the junction of Hwy 290W and Hwy 281, continue on Hwy 281 about 11 miles to Blanco, TX. Continue about 3 miles South of Blanco to Rocking J Ranch development.

Note: If you see Logan’s Way, you’ve gone about ½ mile too far.

When you enter into Rockin' J Ranch you will drive through the gate and proceed past the sales office. Approximately one mile past the gate you will come to a 4-way intersection. If you are only going to the practice range, you will turn right. If you are going to the golf shop to play, you will continue straight through the intersection another 3/4 of a mile until you come to Jeff Vaughn Road. Turn right and you will drive 1/4 mile and the golf shop will be on your right.

We recommend you go to MapQuest.com for specific directions to Rocking J Ranch entrance, then use the above directions to the course. Vaaler Creek address is:

228 Jeff Vaughn, Blanco, TX 78606

REMEMBER, MAKE SURE YOU GIVE YOURSELF AMPLE DRIVE TIME FROM YOUR STARTING POINT TO ARRIVE AT VAALER CREEK NO LATER THAN 8:30.
