Lions Results

Lions results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Members BOB ELI, RONNIE GARCIA, SZUCCEED LY, and GAVIN MORELAND and Special Guests KHAM LY and PHIL MARCHBANKS to our Lions Muny tournament.
  • With only one tournament in January, our next Stats update will be at the end of February.

Is this January or early March? Weather conditions for our 2nd event at Morris Williams on February 2 appear to be mild and dry. How nice is this?

Congratulations to our Team competition winners….

1st Team Flight: Karl Morris and Andrew Arredondo with a Team Net 17 Under Par

2nd Team Flight: Randall Wofford and Scott Preece with a Team Net 16 Under Par

And…Special Kudos to…..

  • Jeff Jones for the only Deuce in the 2nd Deuce Flight….with carryover.
  • Gavin Moreland for his 73 and Low Gross of the day.
  • Scott Preece for driving the green on the Par 4 #18 and sinking the putt for a Deuce.

Lions Tournament Specifics

Lions pairings are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Members BOB ELI, RONNIE GARCIA, SZUCCEED LY, and GAVIN MORELAND and Special Guests KHAM LY and PHIL MARCHBANKS to our Lions Muny tournament.
  • We still have room for players if you didn’t signed up yet and are now available to play. We’re looking for at least one more 2-Player Team.
  • Beginning with our Lions Muny tournament, CTGA is now in a position to accept credit cards for tournament fees. Sean is working out the details and will advise those interested in using this method of payment.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Times, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Lions Muny Scoreboard before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Kevin Lowe and Scot Preece will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Looks like a great start to 2013 with a high around 55 at start time and little chance of frost delay. If, however, the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (477-6963) or Eddie Nunez (797-0566) after 9:00 on tournament day for status of play.

CTGA PACE OF PLAY: We finished 2012 on a high and are confident everyone will stay focused on our 4:30 expectations.

LIONS MUNY DRESS CODE: Although Lions has no specific dress code, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with upscale course requirements. They are a soft spike facility.

SEE YOU ON THE FIRST TEE……
