Teravista Event Rained Out

The weathermen indicated a 50% chance of rain today. Unfortunately, for once they were right. It rained hard and long enough to scrub the event by the time our 1st group reached hole #9.

It’s hard to be too disappointed as this was our first rainout of our 2013 tournament season and our 3rd rainout in the past 4 years. As much as we need it, it’s too bad the rain seemed to just hit the north side of Austin. My home in S/W Austin got no more than a few drops.

All players who started play at Teravista get credit as a 2013 tournament played.

Delaware Springs Tournament Results

Delaware Springs results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed New Members DOUG DAVIS, SHELLY McLAUGHLIN and JOHN WEISHEIT, and Special Guests RALPH LOUGHMILLER and JAMES RASH to our Delaware Springs tournament.
  • Several members found it necessary to withdraw from this event for reasons beyond their control. Each contacted us prior to tournament time and we thank them for that. Because of this, we had to adjust the payout amount to 3 places for 1st Flight and 4 places for 2nd and 3rd Flights.
  • Members Ed Hipert and Sean Nunez each had a HOLE-IN-ONE in April. Congratulations to both. We’d like all members to let us know when great feats like this happen so we can share it with everyone. Eagles, Double Eagles, Aces, Career Low Score, etc., are what we’d like to share.

Attached are the results of our Delaware Springs tournament today. The weather was nothing short of “fantastic”…probably the best so far this year. This and the great course made for a fun day. Here’s hoping the future will give us continuing great playing conditions.
