Hidden Falls Results

Hidden Falls results are now available.

Our CTGA Pace of Play on Sunday was, again, excellent.  All foursomes completed their round within our target time.  This is a great trend developing for 2018 and we look for it to continue.  Great job everyone!!!!!

There was some confusion yesterday with our Back 9 Close-To-Pin holes.  Unfortunately, the #17 CTP marker was put on #15 hole and #15 marker on #17 hole.  Although there were players in the different Flights who were closer, we had to go with the correct distances for those whose names were on the Prox markers.  We don’t expect this to happen again in the future.

At our October annual meeting, members requested the opportunity to purchase CTGA logo shirts, caps, outerwear, etc.  We announced at Hidden Falls yesterday that we now have a vendor and are ready to start taking orders.  I’ll be sending out more information on this within the week.

Lions Results

Lions results are now available.

  • Pulling the plug on the Lions Muny tournament was almost assured until I got to the course at 9:00.  Although a bit colder than normal, the wind was calm and the sun was out and that gave the green light to play.  By 11:00layers were coming off and the day turned out great.

Congratulations to Adam Sinclair who recorded a Hole-In-One on hole #13.  It was CTGA’s first ACE since October 27, 2016 and only the 9th since 2003.  Now, to replenish our Hole-In-One pot, all members will be assessed an additional $2.00 at your next tournament.

Our Lions Muny Pace of Play on Saturday was excellent as our first 5 foursomes finished within 5 minutes and the last 6 within 14 minutes of the foursome in front.  Thanks to all for your efforts.

In addition to our Team Winners, special KUDOS to the following:

  • Sean Nunez with both Low Gross (71) and Low Net (68) Rounds of the Day
  • Closest Par 3 shots of the day:
    • 1st Trash Flight:    Sean Nunez – 12’ 4” on #17
    • 2nd Trash Flight:   Adam Sinclair – 0’ 0” on #....HOLE-IN-ONE
  • Jeff Rogers for his Eagle 3 on #12
  • Adam Sinclair again for his Hole-In-One Eagle on #13
  • Sean Nunez and Scott Preece for the only Deuces in the 1st Trash Flight
  • No Deuces in the 2nd Trash Flight which means the Deuce Pot will be a hefty one next tournament.
