Roy Kizer Tournament Specifics
Roy Kizer pairings are now available.
- CTGA welcomes Returning New Member ROGER PELOQUIN, New Members SCOTT KUNZ, MATTHEW LAMB, GREG POSCO, and ANDIES SHEPHERD, and Special Guests RYAN GRANDIN, HELEN HERRERA and TOM WAITE to our Roy Kizer tournament.
- We have 4 open spots on Saturday for anyone whose plans have changed and are able to play. Just send me an email ASAP.
- Countdown to our Fall Classic: Including Roy Kizer, 6 events remaining before the Classic and 4 events left to make sure you qualify for our FedEx Cup Playoffs.
- Our scheduled September 14 tournament at Starcke Park is still up in the air as their renovation may not be complete. We should know something for sure by mid next week and will keep you posted.
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics, including Pairings, Tee Times, Assigned Tees, Flights, and CTGA Rules of Play. All information will be posted at the Roy Kizer pavilion prior to start of play.
All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Kevin Lowe and Scott Preece will be the CTGA Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

Tournament Fee (Green Fee and Player Pool Fee) - $62.00
(Note: Carts and Range Balls are extra this event)
Skins & Deuces - $5.00 each
1st SCHEDULED TEE TIME: 10:30
TEES TO PLAY:
Men: 1st & 2nd Flights play BLACK TEES
3rd, 4th and 5th Flights play BLUE TEES
6th Flight plays WHITE TEES
All Ladies play Red Tees
TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: There is a hefty Carry-over in the 2nd Deuce Flight. This in this Flight who did not play Landa Park last tournament must buy in to the Carryover portion of the Deuce Pot. See attached 2nd Deuce Flight Carryover.
CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 4 & #13; 2nd Trash Flight - # 8 & # 15
KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 5 and # 17.
SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Mostly sunny and warm….what else is new. No rain in the forecast at this time. Carry lots of fluids to avoid dehydration. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (444-0999) or Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) after 9:00 on tournament day for status of play.
CTGA PACE OF PLAY: We’ll continue to push for our 4:30 pace target. With 60 players in our event, we all need to pay attention to the pace of our 4-some. Note that penalties will be assessed for “Excessive Slow Play”.
ROY KIZER DRESS CODE.... No specific dress code requirements, however, CTGA requests all members and invited guests to dress consistent with upscale country club requirements. They are a soft spike facility.
