Jimmy Clay results are now available.

• CTGA welcomed New Members JOHNATHAN DUFFIE, BRIAN NEWSOM and ELLIOTT REYES to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
• We came within a whisker of cancelling the Jimmy Clay event because of foul weather. Our members thought different as 32 of our scheduled 36 players opted to test the elements and play. We played through a temp in the mid-30’s, a mild breeze, some ice pellets and a few big snowflakes.
• Although our Sign-up deadline has passed, we still have a couple of openings for White Wing. If you’re available, sign up by Tuesday.

• CTGA welcomed New Member TERESA PHILLIPS and Special Guest JEFF CLARKSON to our Morris Williams tournament.
• We asked for all players to help ensure a good Pace of Play at Morris Williams. It was a great effort by all as every 4-some finished within a hole behind the group in front. We all showed that it can be done, and we thank you all.

• This is a reminder to all members that everyone is in our optional Skins and Deuces competitions unless you opt out prior to start of play on tournament day. We also ask members who invite guests that this applies to them as well.
• We also want to remind members that each event has a Sign-Up Deadline and we’re asking everyone to please adhere to this deadline.

• CTGA welcomed New Member JAMES BATTLE and JORDAN MOORE to our Roy Kizer tournament.
• Our December 10 event at Jimmy Clay will be our last for calendar year 2011. Early forecast shows clear skies and temp in the mid 50’s. Not bad for a day of golf in December.
• Our 2012 CTGA Tournament schedule should be complete and ready for distribution before Christmas. We’ll keep you posted on it’s progress.

Optimism was low for us getting our round in yesterday, but we persevered and as the day progressed, the rain not only left us, but we even saw glimpses of the sun at times. Only 2 scheduled players decided the threat of rain was too much.

We thank all who played for being there yesterday.
