Cowan Creek Tournament Specifics

Cowan Creek pairings are now available.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Cowan Creek Pro Shop before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes around 7:45.

Jeff Bowman and Jeff Jones will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct any tournament questions or concerns to them.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: MEDAL PLAY

SHOTGUN START: 8:00

TEES TO PLAY:
1st Flights will play Gold Tees
2nd & 3rd Flights will play Blue Tees

TRASH CARRY-OVER: Deuces Carry-Over in the 2nd Trash Flight. See attached Carry Over sheet for details.

SUNDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Early morning clouds and mid 70’s, rising to 94 in afternoon. A great day for CTGA golf.

DRESS CODE: Cowan Creek Dress Code is consistent with other upscale courses so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

From Austin, going North on I-35……

· Exit 261A
· Left turn onto RR2338 / Williams Dr
· Stay on Williams Dr for 5.1 miles, then
· Right onto Del Webb Blvd for 1.9 miles
· Left onto Sun City Blvd for 1.7 miles
· Left onto Cool Springs Way for 0.9 miles to course on Left

Forest Creek Tournament Specifics

Forest Creek pairings are now available.

FOREST CREEK FORMAT CHANGE…. At the request of several Members, and with a bit smaller turnout, the format for Forest Creek has been changed from Chicago to Medal Play and the start time is 1:00.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Forest Creek Pro Shop before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Jeff Bowman, Jeff Jones will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct any tournament questions or concerns to them.

Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Jimmy Clay Pavilion before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: 4 PLAYER 6+6+6

1st TEE TIME: 10:32

TEES TO PLAY:

ALL PLAYERS WILL PLAY WHITE TEES

TRASH CARRY-OVER: Deuces Carry-Over in the 2nd Trash Flights. See attached Carry Over sheet for details.

WEATHER FORECAST: High in the mid 80’s with no expectations of rain. If, however, the weather does become questionable, please call the golf course (444-0999) after 9:00 on tournament day for instructions.

DRESS CODE: Jimmy Clay has no specific Dress Code. However, CTGA requests all players to comply with standard Resort Dress Code expectations. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Starcke Park Tournament Specifics

Starcke Park pairings are now available.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Starcke Park Pro Shop before the start of play.

With a Shotgun Start, all players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 8:00 as we should be going to our assigned starting holes by 8:15.

Go to Google for specific directions. Starcke Park address is…

650 River Drive West, Seguin, TX.

(Note: as you approach the entrance to Starcke Park, if you cross the Guadalupe River bridge, you’ve gone too far.)

It’s about an hour drive from Ben White in Austin to Starcke Park, so make sure you leave early enough to get there on time.
