Morris Williams Tournament Specifics

Morris Williams pairings are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Member JORDAN MOORE and Special Guests JEFF CLARKSON and TERESA PHILLIPS to our Morris Williams tournament.
  • PACE OF PLAY.....PACE OF PLAY.....PACE OF PLAY. Our 2012 commitment to our members is to do what’s necessary to ensure our tournaments are played within a 4 hour 30 minute pace. PLEASE help us achieve this commitment.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Morris Williams Pavilion before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Jeff Jones and Kevin Lowe will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT : Medal Play

1st TEE TIME: 10:00

TEES TO PLAY: 1st Flight Men play BLUE Tees; All other Men play WHITE Tees. LADIES play RED Tees

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: No Carryover in either Trash Flight.

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 3 & #12; 2nd Trash Flight - # 8 & # 14

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 5 and # 15.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: In the 50’s by tee time with a high of 61. Clear skies and a great day for CTGA golf. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (926-1298) after 8:30 on tournament day for status of play.

DRESS CODE: Morris Williams has no specific dress code. However, CTGA requests all players to please dress consistent with upscale course requirements. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Riverside Tournament Specifics

Pairings for Riverside are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Members ALEX AGER, BRAD BEVIL, CLINT CHEGIN, CHAD CRYER, ROB NELON and RYAN SLOOP and Special Guests MATTHEW KELLY and DAVID PEREZ to our Riverside tournament.
  • This is a great start for 2012 and we look forward to seeing all our returning members and new members.
  • A reminder to everyone to make sure we know and adhere to our Embedded Rock and Exposed Root rule. Fair play and the spirit of golf is most important when determining the use and application of these CTGA local rules.

Our final 2 tournaments for calendar year 2011are December 3 (Roy Kizer) and December 10 (Jimmy Clay).
