Clear Creek Tournament Specifics

Clear Creek pairings are now available.

FT HOOD REQUIRES PASSES TO GET TO THE GOLF COURSE. For those of us driving, we MUST PRESENT A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, PROOF OF INSURANCE and CURRENT CAR REGISTRATION DOCUMENT. Make sure you have these and give yourself at least 20 extra minutes to get them processed.

CLEAR CREEK TOURNAMENT SPECIFICS

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Clear Creek pro shop before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Jeff Jones and Chris Wadle will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct any tournament questions or concerns to them.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: MEDAL PLAY

1st TEE TIME: 9:00

TEES TO PLAY:

  • 1st Flight will play Gold Tees
  • 2nd Flight will play White Tees
  • Ladies will play Green Tees

TRASH CARRY-OVER: 2nd Deuce Flight Carry-Over for this event.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: What else…..hot and sunny. If the weather does look bad, please call the golf course (254-287-4130) after 7:00 for status of play.

DRESS CODE: Clear Creek has a Dress Code consistent with upscale courses so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Teravista Tournament Specifics

Teravista pairings are now available.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Teravista pro shop before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Chris Wadle and Eddie Nunez will be the Directors in charge of this event. Please direct any tournament questions or concerns to them.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: MEDAL PLAY

1st TEE TIME: 12:00

TEES TO PLAY:

  • 1st Flights will play Gold Tees
  • 2nd & 3rd Flights will play Silver Tees

TRASH CARRY-OVER: No Trash Carry-Over for this event.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Possible thunderstorms…..but we’ve heard that before. If the weather does look bad, please call the golf course (651-9850) after 11:00 for status of play.

DRESS CODE: Teravista has a Dress Code consistent with upscale courses so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Roy Kizer Tournament Specifics

Roy Kizer pairings are now available.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Roy Kizer Pavilion before the start of play.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

DRESS CODE: Roy Kizer has no specific Dress Code. CTGA does request all players to dress consistent with upscale courses so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Vaaler Creek Tournament Specifics -- Revised

Revised Vaaler Creek pairings are now available.

1. Vaaler Creek Gold Tees are measured at 6,864 yards. They are setting up the course for our 1st Flight players to about 6,550 yards, which will affect a few handicaps. Please note the changes and if they will affect your handicap for this event.

Instead of playing all Gold Tees, our 1st Flight will play the Gold Tees on 11 holes and "Texas Flag" tee markers on 7 holes. Again, this applies ONLY to 1st Flight players.

2nd and 3rd Flight players will play Blue Tees all the way, which are just under 6,300 yards.

2. One player had to cancel and we added two others. This required us to redo both the Medal Play and Trash Flights. Please note the changes and if they will affect the Flight you'll be playing in.

Any questions, please make sure you clear them up prior to our start on Saturday morning.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes around 7:45.

TEES TO PLAY:

All Men will play White Tees both days

Ladies will play Red Tees both days
