Star Ranch Tournament Results

Star Ranch results are now available.

CTGA welcomed Returning Member JASON DURAN and New Member STEVE GUILLORY to our Star Ranch tournament.

  • NOTE ABOVE that the format for our November 21 tournament at Roy Kizer has been changed to a 4-Player Team 6+6+6 event. This popular format 3 was cancelled on October 24 due to rain.
  • Our CTGA Directors, Sean, Kevin, Scott, and Steve, gave rave reviews about our Star Ranch Pace of Play.  This event showed, without question, that CTGA is capable of meeting our 4:30 Pace goal.  Congratulations to all who played on Thursday and we look forward to this becoming the norm at all future CTGA events.

Star Ranch Tournament Specifics

Star Ranch pairings are now available.

  • It looks like a great day for CTGA golf….lots of sun, a mild breeze and temp in the mid to high 60’s.
  • Another reminder that we will be teeing off on #1 and #10.  Our last group off #1 will be at 12:56 and at 12:48 off #10, which will allow our last foursomes to finish well before sunset (5:37).  Any foursome causing excessive delays behind them will be penalized… no excuses accepted.
  • Reminder #2:  Format for our November 21 event at Roy Kizer has been changed to a Team format.  See details above.

Morris Williams Tournament Specifics

Morris Williams pairings are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes 2015 returning Members, New Members and Special Guest to our first official tournament of 2016.  2015 was an absolute banner year and we are confident 2016 will be even better.
  • We will be implementing our 2016 Pace of Play initiative beginning with Morris Williams this weekend.  We’re confident all players will do what’s needed to ensure a sub-4:30 round.
  • Rain is in the forecast for most of the latter part of this week.  We’re asking all players to PLEASE don’t just decide not to show up without calling if it looks like we won’t play.  We’ve had threats in the past where the clouds parted and we were able to play.  We have committed 36 players to Morris Williams for Saturday and, if the weather does allow us to play, we should all be there to play.
