Lakecliff Results
Lakecliff results are now available.
CTGA welcomed New Members JOSH LEWIS, RICH LILLJEDAHL and BOMAN McCOURY, and Special Guest ZACK WOODARD to our Lakecliff tournament.
- This is another reminder to all Members to PLEASE EITHER CALL THE GOLF COURSE OR A DIRECTOR IF A CONFLICT ARISES ON TOURNAMENT DAY THAT PREVENTS YOU FROM BEING THERE. This allows us to proactively notify the course staff and to make Pairing adjustments if needed. The telephone number for the golf course and Tournament Director, Eddie Nunez, is always included in our Tournament Specifics (in the Weather Forecast bullet).
- Your Tournament Director goofed on the Tournament Fee for Lakecliff CC. Their course fee was actually $55.00 instead of the $50.00 that I accounted for. This resulted in a deficit of $265.00 that we didn’t collect and had to pay the course. In fairness to our CTGA General Fund, it’s necessary to assess all Lakecliff CC players an additional $5.00, payable at your next tournament. I apologize for this unusual mistake and thank you all for your understanding.
Lakecliff is arguably one of the best and favorite courses CTGA plays every year. The overall condition of the course was outstanding and the green were impeccable. The weather was the first sign of true Summer and, at times, many of us were looking for a breeze of any sort. Bottom line….a great day of golf for CTGA.
The Lakecliff CC Director of Golf said he would like to have us back again and we talked about the likelihood of scheduling both a Spring and Fall event there in 2016.
Congratulations to our Lakecliff CC Flight winners…..
1st Flight: Eddie Nunez (70/66)
2nd Flight: Brad Kendrick (76/65)
3rd Flight: Joe Booth (80/66)
4th Flight: Donny Thomas (80/62)
5th Flight: Barry Tipton (91/68)
Also, special Kudos to….

- Donny Thomas with the Individual Low Net Rounds of the Day – 62
- Chris Arenas with the Closest Par 3 shot of the day of 8’ 6” on hole #3
- Steve Barnes, AJ Ju and Michael Whitley with the only Deuces in the 1st Trash Flight
