And remember….our September 16 and September 23 events are regular Medal Play events and the FedEx Cup Playoffs are just an added part of those events.
Lastly, don’t forget that the date of our Fall Classic has moved from September 30~October 1 to October 14~15

ROY KIZER DRESS CODE: Although they have no specific dress code, CTGA asks that all players dress consistent with Country Club attire, so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facility.
SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: What else….Hot and Sunny, so stay hydrated. If the weather does turn bad, call Eddie (512-797-0566) after8:00 on Saturday as he’ll be in touch with the course by then.

- Our next event on Saturday, August 12 is at Stonetree in Killeen. We played there last year and all players requested it back on our schedule this year.

Lions Muny Results
Lions results are now available.
- CTGA welcomed New Member JOHNNY KELLY and MITCHELL MATKIN to our Lions Muny tournament.
- David Nardecchia lost a Hybrid club at Lions yesterday. If anyone happened to pick it up, please let us know.
- We have 6 events remaining before our 2017 Fall Classic and only 4 remaining prior to our FedEx Cup Playoff. We’ll be sending out member participation through yesterday’s event so all can see where you stand in the qualifying for both.
- We are really encouraged with the Pace of Play we’re seeing this year. Yesterday was a great example of the efforts all members are giving as all foursomes finished within our 4:30 goal. Great going, gang.
- On a side note….what a finish at the British Open today. Jordan Spieth showed some serious talent after such a disastrous start.
LIONS MUNY TOURNAMENT RESULTS
There was some major confusion with the handicap holes on our scorecards yesterday. The course was rated recently by USGA that resulted in some significant changes to the handicap holes. I’ve made the change in our software database which did change some of the results posted yesterday at the course. We apologize for the confusion and thank you all for your patience and understanding.
