Jimmy Clay Results

Jimmy Clay results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed Special Guest Mark Huff to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
  • First, I want to commend all players for the exceptional Pace of Play at Jimmy Clay on Sunday.  Despite windy conditions, all players completed play within our 4:30 target time.  Great pace…..
  • A SPECIAL NOTICE:  our 2017 Fall Classic, originally scheduled for the 1st weekend in October (Sept 30-Oct 1) has been moved to the weekend of October 14-15.  We have multiple members who seem to have a conflict with the Sept 30-Oct 1 date.
  • Our April 29 event at Jimmy Clay will not change.  We realize it’s only a couple weeks after our April 9 event there, but we were not able to find an alternate course to make a change.

JIMMY CLAY TOURNAMENT RESULTS

In addition to our 4 Player Designated Hitter winners, Special KUDOS to the following…..

2nd Trash Flight:  Ryan Logue – 5’ 8” on #5

  • James Battle and Bill Thomas for the only Deuces in the 1st Trash Flight.

Jimmy Clay Tournament Specifics

Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.

  • The fee for our next tournament, at Lakecliff CC, is incorrect on our Tournament Schedule.  The correct fee, including course fee ($50.00) and CTGA Player Pool, is $80.00.  This is one of the premier courses in the greater Austin area and the only course with true “Bent Greens”.  It is a treat to play.
  • When we changed our April 9 venue from Morris Williams to Jimmy Clay, we also tried to change our April 29 event at Jimmy Clay to Legacy Hills. Unfortunately, Legacy Hills is booked that entire weekend.  We then tried to orchestrate a double switch with another course, but Legacy Hills has events booked almost every weekend thru September.  We will continue to try to and secure a different course on April 29 to avoid 2 events at Jimmy Clay within a 20 day period.

Player C is the DH on #3, #7, #12, and #16:
