Legacy Hills Tournament Specifics

Legacy Hills pairings are now available.

  • Legacy Hills practice green is under renovation.  If you feel you need to do some putting before play, you can go to White Wing just down the road and use their green.  If you do, make sure you’re back at Legacy Hills before 7:45.
  • NOTE:  Our next tournament at Lions Muny is a 2-Player Green Ball ~ Best Ball format.
  • We have room for more players so if your schedule allows and you’d like to play, please call me at 512-797-0566 ASAP.

 

LEGACY HILLS TOURNAMENT SPECIFICS

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 7:50.

 

Kevin Lowe, Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT:  Medal Play

 

SHOTGUN START:  8:00

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

 

TEES TO PLAY:  See Pairing Sheet

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #8 & #16;    2nd Trash Flight - #4 & #12

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #5 and #15.

 

LEGACY HILLS DRESS CODE:  Their dress code requires collared shirt and no jeans.  CTGA asks that all players dress consistent with Country Club attire, so please dress accordingly.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   80° at start time climbing to mid-90’s at finish, with very little breeze.  Stay “hydrated”.  If the weather does turn bad, call Eddie after 7:00 Saturday morning (512-797-0566) as he’ll be in touch with the course by then.

 

 

DIRECTIONS TO LEGACY HILLS:

 

From Austin, go North on I-35……

  • Take Exit 262 (Williams Dr), then stay on Frontage road for 1.2miles to 1st Stop Light
  • At stop light, Left turn onto RR2338 / Williams Dr
  • Stay on Williams Dr for 5.1 miles, then
  • Right onto Del Webb Blvd for 1.4 miles
  • Legacy Hills Golf Course on your right.

If you end up at the stop light (shopping center on left), you’ve gone too far.
