Delaware Springs Tournament Specifics

Pairings for Delaware Springs are now available.

  • CTGA welcomes New Members TOMMY KEELING and REID MEREDITH to our Delaware Springs tournament.
  • We do have room for more players. If your plans have changed and you’re free to join us, please let me know ASAP.
  • Again, Morris Williams is not yet ready for play, so our final tournament for calendar year 2012 has been moved to White Wing in Sun City.
  • I hope everyone has had a chance to review our 2013 FedEx Cup and Kodak Challenge guidelines that were sent out to everyone on November 18. If you have any questions on either of these year-long events, please make sure you discuss them with any of your CTGA Directors at your convenience.

All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Times, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Delaware Springs Pro Shop before the start of play.

With a Shotgun Start beginning at 9:00, all players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 8:30.

Kevin Lowe and Scot Preece will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Looks like another great CTGA golf day…a high of 78 with partly cloudy skies. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (512-756-8471) or Eddie Nunez (797-0566) after 7:30 on tournament day for status of play.

CTGA PACE OF PLAY: The pace of play in our last 2 tournaments was outstanding. We’ve proved that a sub-4:30 round is both easy to achieve and fun. Remember, it’s the responsibility of all players in your 4-some to work together to meet this goal.

DELAWARE SPRINGS DRESS CODE: No specific dress code, but CTGA does recommend all players dress consistent with country club standards. They are a soft spike facility.
