- The tournament fee for Onion Creek has been raised by $2.00 to $74.00. This includes the course green fee, shared cart, range balls, and Player Pool fee. The reason for the increase is to ensure we have an adequate player pool for our 4 tournament Flights. Also, as a reminder, Skins and Deuces are extra.
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Onion Creek patio prior to start of play.
All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 12:00 as we’ll be going to our assigned holes at 12:20.
Kevin Lowe and Eddie Nunez will be the CTGA Directors in charge of this event. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

Team Championship Results
Results from the Team Championship are now available.
- CTGA welcomed New Members DOMINIQUE CARRILLO, RYAN LOGUE and RHETT SHUTZE, and Special Guest LARRY KEELING to our Morris Williams tournament.
- Remember, our next tournament is at Onion Creek on Thursday, June 27. Our Sign up deadline is FRIDAY, JUNE 21.
- Ezra Peterson hurt his wrist trying to hit out of a bunker on Sunday and had to withdraw, which in turn, took his partner, Charlie Wilson out of the 2-Player event as well. What looked very serious turned out to be a Grade 1 Strain and Ezra should be back playing in about a month. Get well, Ezra….we hope to see you soon.
Raves about perfect weekend weather appeared to be a bit premature at about 9:20 Sunday morning as an intense thunderstorm stopped play for 45 minutes. It rained just long enough to get all players and equipment wet. As we returned to play, the clouds parted and the sun came shining through. From that point on, it WAS a perfect weekend of golf.
Congratulations to our Team Flight winners….

- 1st Place: The “Father-Son” team of John and Jeff Weisheit with a 2-day Net total of 198

This may have been one of the best CTGA scoring tournament ever …..
Yeh….we played from the White Tees, but we also have to remember that we still had to hit fairways and greens and put the ball in the hole. Congratulations to those of us who were in a rare “zone” and to those of you who shoot similar scores regularly.

Two Player Team Championship: Round 2 Pairings
Round 2 pairings are now available.
Today was possibly the best weather day for CTGA golf in 2013. If only we could have it like this all year round.
Attached are the Pairings and Tee Times for tomorrow’s final round. Please make sure you’re at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
It may look like we’ve got some skewing in the Sunday Pairings based on Saturday scores. We did have a couple members requesting either early or late tee times for Sunday to accommodate other commitments either before or after play and we want our Directors to go off earlier so we can take care of post-play activities.
We had some good scores today. Let’s all keep the momentum going and have a great Sunday round as well.
Saturday Trash Results will be posted at the Morris Williams pavilion tomorrow morning prior to start of play.
Our Pace of Play was good.....maybe not “EXCELLENT”..... but good. We ask all players to do what’s necessary to work toward a sub 4:30 round.
WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE FIRST TEE TOMORROW.......
