Falconhead Tournament Results

Falconhead results are now available.

CTGA welcomed New Members ADAM KARTZKE, ADAM McDANIEL and DANA THOMPSON, and Special Guests JUAN MALDONADO and TOM WOLF to our Falconhead tournament.

  • Check your golf bag to see if you’re missing a Callaway X18 Pitching Wedge.  It was turned in by one of our players.
  • The possibility of Jimmy Clay to reopen on Saturday, August 15 is becoming more likely.  I spoke to the Director of Golf, Kevin Gomillion, today and he’s very optimistic providing the work on bunkers and cart paths get done.  Let’s hope it happens.
  • It was brought to our attention yesterday by members in the later pairing groups that they had to repair an excessive amount of “fresh” ball marks on the greens at Falconhead.  CTGA prides itself on maintaining uncompromising etiquette during play, which includes care of the course we’re playing.  We again want to remind all CTGA members to do the following:

1.      Look for and fix your ball mark, then look for and fix one more;

2.      Rake your footprints in the bunker you have to hit from as well as other footprints someone else missed;

3.      Use the sand provided on the golf carts to fill the divots you take in the fairway, then look for and fill one more.

We thank you for your understanding and help to ensure CTGA is the best at helping to keep golf courses looking good.
