Falconhead Tournament Specifics

Falconhead pairings are now available.

A continuing Special Request from your Directors:  If a conflict arises and you are unable to play the event, PLEASE CALL EDDIE NUNEZ (512-797-0566) or KEVIN LOWE (512-809-3430) before start of play.  No-Shows will be charged the Player Pool fee and, if required by the course, the green fee.

  • IMPORTANT REMINDER…..With a 12:00 start time on Thursday, PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU STAY HYDRATED DURING PLAY.
  • No word yet on the scheduled reopening of Jimmy Clay.  Hopefully they’ll make their decision sometime this weekend.  I’ll keep everyone informed on the status.
  • We have room for more player on a first come basis on Thursday.  If your plans have changed and you would like to play, please let us know ASAP.

This information will be posted at the Falconhead pavilion prior to start of play.

 

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

 

Steve Barnes will be the Director in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT:  Medal Play

 

1st TEE TIME:  12:00

            Again, make sure you stay hydrated during play.

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

 

TEES TO PLAY:  Refer to Pairing Sheet

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #8 & #16;    2nd Trash Flight - #4 & #11

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #5 and #18.

 

FALCONHEAD DRESS CODE:  They do have a specific dress code consistent with Country Club dress policy.  Please dress accordingly.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

THURSDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   Sunny and very Warm….if mid-90’s are warm.  If the weather does turn bad, call Eddie (512-797-0566) after 11:00 for status of play.
