• CTGA welcomed Special Guests PAYDEN CLAYMAN to our Teravista tournament.  Payden has played his last CTGA event this summer and will be off to college.  Study hard, Payden.
• Updated Member tournament participation will be sent out this weekend as we get closer to our Fall Classic and FedEx Cup Playoff.
• A Our next tournament at Starcke Park in Seguin on Sunday, August 21 is one of our favorite venues.  Anyone wanting to “Car Pool” to Seguin, please let us know so we can try to make it happen.

• Special KUDOS to all CTGA players were off the course in 2 hour 40 minutes or less.  The Jimmy Clay staff was very pleased….and we expect this to be the Norm rather than the Exception.  Again, Thanks for your efforts.

Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.

 We have 17 full Teams this Saturday and all Team players will be counting on each other to be there.  If someone doesn’t show up, that Team will have to “blind draw” a partner.  We realize that circumstances do come up at the 11th hour that creates an unavoidable conflict that we have to work around.  We have one member who is on stand-by that we can call to fill in if needed, so if we have a “NO SHOW” (someone who fails to show up without notice), that member or guest will be charged the full event fee of $75.00.

• Another important reminder….Jimmy Clay staff expects all CTGA play to be completed in under 4 hours – 30 minutes.  Penalties will be assessed for Excessive Slow Play.
• Again, this tournament is full at this time and we have no additional space for late entries.  If your plans have changed and you would like to play, please let us know ASAP and we will put you on our reserve list.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 7:50.

JIMMY CLAY DRESS CODE:  They have no specific dress code, however, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with Country Clubs requirements, so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facility.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   75º, clear and mild breeze at start time.  Couldn’t be much better than this.  If the weather turn bad, call Eddie (512-797-0566) after 7:00 for status of play.

Legacy Hills results are now available.

• CTGA welcomed New Member BLUE MORRIS, Returning Member MIKE MARKL and Special Guests PAYDEN CLAYMAN, DAVE FENDRICK and GREG LEWIS to our Legacy Hills tournament.
• Our lead threesome of Phillip Dodson, Patrick Speir and Wes Lynch, who started their round on #14, played their 18 holes in 3 hours 35 minutes.  Our trail foursome, who started on #1 and kept up with the foursome in front, finished our round in 4 hours 47 minutes.  The result was a loss of 1 hour and 12 minutes between groups starting on #2 thru #13.  Something to think about.
• A reminder to all is that our next tournament will be our 4-PLAYER DESIGNATED HITTER tournament at Jimmy Clay
