Jimmy Clay Tournament Specifics
Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.
- CTGA welcomes New Members JOHNATHAN DUFFIE and ELLIOTT REYES to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
- Let’s continue our great collective effort to ensure a 4:30 PACE OF PLAY.
- Our 2012-2013 USGA Rules of Golf booklets are in. Make sure you pick yours up at your next tournament
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Jimmy Clay Pavilion before the start of play.
All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Jeff Jones and Kevin Lowe will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.
FORMAT : Medal Play
1st TEE TIME: 10:30
TEES TO PLAY:
- 1st FLIGHT MEN play BLUE Tees;
- All other MEN play WHITE Tees;
- LADIES play RED Tees
TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: There is a Carryover in the 1st Trash Flight. See attached information.
CLOSE TO PIN HOLES: 1st Trash Flight - # 2 & #14; 2nd Trash Flight - # 5 & # 12
KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: # 5 and # 10.
SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Outstanding…temp in the mid 60’s and partly cloudy with only a 10% chance of showers. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (444-0999) after 8:30 on tournament day for status of play.
DRESS CODE: Jimmy Clay has no specific dress code. However, CTGA requests all players to please dress consistent with upscale course requirements. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Morris Williams Results
Morris Williams results are now available.
- CTGA welcomed New Member TERESA PHILLIPS and Special Guest JEFF CLARKSON to our Morris Williams tournament.
- We asked for all players to help ensure a good Pace of Play at Morris Williams. It was a great effort by all as every 4-some finished within a hole behind the group in front. We all showed that it can be done, and we thank you all.
Congratulations to our Flight Winners….
- 1st FLIGHT: Chad Cryer (-1 point)
- 2nd FLIGHT: Joe Gimenez (13 points)
- 3rd FLIGHT: Randall Wofford (0 points) – won Back 9 scorecard playoff over Teresa Phillips and Jeff Clarkson.

Morris Williams pairings are now available.
- CTGA welcomes New Member JORDAN MOORE and Special Guests JEFF CLARKSON and TERESA PHILLIPS to our Morris Williams tournament.
- PACE OF PLAY.....PACE OF PLAY.....PACE OF PLAY. Our 2012 commitment to our members is to do what’s necessary to ensure our tournaments are played within a 4 hour 30 minute pace. PLEASE help us achieve this commitment.
