Legacy Hills Tournament Specifics
Legacy Hills pairings are now available.
- Legacy Hills practice green is under renovation. If you feel you need to do some putting before play, you can go to White Wing just down the road and use their green. If you do, make sure you’re back at Legacy Hills before 7:45.
- NOTE: Our next tournament at Lions Muny is a 2-Player Green Ball ~ Best Ball format.
- We have room for more players so if your schedule allows and you’d like to play, please call me at 512-797-0566 ASAP.

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than7:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 7:50.
Kevin Lowe, Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SHOTGUN START: 8:00
TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER: No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES: #5 and #15.
LEGACY HILLS DRESS CODE: Their dress code requires collared shirt and no jeans. CTGA asks that all players dress consistent with Country Club attire, so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facility.
SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: 80° at start time climbing to mid-90’s at finish, with very little breeze. Stay “hydrated”. If the weather does turn bad, call Eddie after 7:00 Saturday morning (512-797-0566) as he’ll be in touch with the course by then.
DIRECTIONS TO LEGACY HILLS:
From Austin, go North on I-35……
- Take Exit 262 (Williams Dr), then stay on Frontage road for 1.2miles to 1st Stop Light
- At stop light, Left turn onto RR2338 / Williams Dr
- Stay on Williams Dr for 5.1 miles, then
- Right onto Del Webb Blvd for 1.4 miles
- Legacy Hills Golf Course on your right.
If you end up at the stop light (shopping center on left), you’ve gone too far.
Jimmy Clay Tournament Results
Jimmy Clay results are now available.
- Check your golf bag if you play PING Irons. One was turned in later in the day and it just may belong to a CTGA member. If you are missing a Ping Iron, identify it and we’ll make sure we get it back to you.
- Our next tournament at Legacy Hills will not have a practice green as theirs is being redone. If you need to putt prior to play, you may want to go to use the White Wing putting green early.
- Updated Stats through Vaaler Creek (June 24) will be sent out later today and will include Handicaps and FedEx Points to date. Kodak Challenge points will be sent out later in the week as Kevin Lowe is currently out of the country.

Vaaler Creek Tournament Results
Vaaler Creek results are now available.
- CTGA welcomed New Members KYLE HERRING, BRANDON RAMIREZ, FREDY RODRIGUEZ, prospective new members JAROD LAYTON and TERRY RODRIGUEZ, and returning Guest BILL LAYTON to our Vaaler Creek event.
- Saturday’s event at Vaaler Creek may have been one of the best events of the year weather wise with mild temp and good cloud cover. We hope all 66 players enjoyed the day.
- Our next event at Jimmy Clay on Saturday, July 1 is a Chicago format. This is a variation of the Modified Stableford format. An explanation will be sent with our usual Tournament Reminder later today.
