Jimmy Clay Tournament Specifics
Jimmy Clay pairings are now available.
- CTGA welcomes New Member JOHN HALL and Special Guests JEREMY BLACKMAN and DON HAGA to our Jimmy Clay tournament.
- Our 2013 Fall Classic is next weekend. Note: we are playing LEGACY HILLS and COWAN CREEK. Please sign up early if you plan to play as we have tons of preparation for this great event.
- Our 2013 FedEx Cup playoff Elimination Rounds end on Saturday at Jimmy Clay and we will announce the Finalists at that time.
- Kodak Challenge point update will be sent to all members along with the Jimmy Clay results.
- We have spots open this Saturday for anyone whose plans have changed and can join us. Just let me know ASAP.
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics, including Pairings, scheduled Start Times, Assigned Tees, Flights, and CTGA Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Jimmy Clay pavilion prior to start of play.
All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.
Kevin Lowe and Scott Preece will be the CTGA Director in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Possibly a day like last Sunday…threat of rain at 1st tee time, and clear by 11:00. Only if conditions look unplayable will we consider cancelling this round. If you need confirmation, call the golf course (512-444-0999) or Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) after 8:00 on tournament day for status of play.
CTGA PACE OF PLAY: With one of our largest fields of the year, finish times will be monitored and, if necessary, penalties assessed for “Excessive Slow Play”.

JIMMY CLAY DRESS CODE.... No specific dress code. However, CTGA requests all players dress consistent with country club expected attire. They are a soft spike facility.

Morris Williams Results
Morris Williams results are now available.
- CTGA welcomed New Member JUAN MALDONADO and Special Guests JEFF BOWMAN and DYLAN LEMKE to our Morris Williams tournament.
- 2013 Fall Classic countdown: 1 event remaining
- 2013 FedEx Cup playoff Round 2 is Saturday at Jimmy Clay.
- Refer to the earlier email sent showing those members who have qualified for our FedEx Cup playoffs.
The forecast for Sunday was ominous at best. The chances of getting our round in looked bleak, until we started play. Our field dwindled from 71 to 64, and most who braved the elements had a great time.
Attached are the Morris Williams Medal Play results and the results of our FedEx Cup Round 1 Playoff.
Remember, those in the FedEx Cup Playoffs are already signed up for Jimmy Clay unless you send an email advising you can’t make it. Also, if you have a preferred group you want to play with, please let me know before Tuesday evening.

Colovista Tournament Specifics
Colovista pairings are now available.
CTGA welcomes New Members LARRY CASTRO and JACOB GONZALES and Special Guests CONNOR LOWE and DERALD MORRIS to our Colovista tournament.
- We have spots open for this tournament for anyone whose plans have changed and are able to play. Just send me an email ASAP.
- FedEx Cup Playoff Countdown: No more qualifying FedEx Cup events. Playoffs begin next week, Sunday, September 29.
- Fall Classic Countdown: Including Colovista… 3 events remaining before the Classic.
- A reminder that if you plan to play in the FedEx Cup Elimination playoffs and the Fall Classic, you’re committed to 3 weekends in a row. Like last year, we expect to have a great player pool for all competitions.

Starcke Park Results
Starcke Park results are now available.
- Again, our next tournament is this coming Saturday at Colovista in Bastrop. This added tournament is a make-up for our 2 rain-outs earlier in the year. This tournament will count toward both Fall Classic and FedEx Cup qualifying.
- 2013 Fall Classic countdown: 3 events, including Colovista.
- 2013 FedEx Cup playoff countdown: 1 event only….Colovista.

A fairly small turnout for a great day of golf at an equally great golf course. We look forward to returning to Starcke Park again next year.
