- On behalf of your 2011 Directors, we want to express a special thank all our CTGA Members for helping make this year the success that it was.
- Yesterday evening I attended the annual Austin Golf League Directors’ meeting to secure our tournament dates for Jimmy Clay, Roy Kizer and Lions Muny courses. Morris Williams is scheduled to shut down January 1 to begin their 10 month renovation.

Arguably the best combination of weather and golf course we’ve had for our annual Fall Classic in years. It was almost perfect.

Cory Miers and Zach Sewill for joining us this weekend knowing they were unable to compete in our Medal Play competition due to lack of rounds played. We hope you enjoyed the event as did the rest of us.

Classic pairings are now available.

- Cowan Creek is at least 50 minutes drive from downtown Austin, so make sure you give yourself ample time to get there and get warmed up.
- We'll be forming Teams for our 2-Player Team competition just prior to start of play. Get your partner identified or sign up as a Single and we'll blind draw a partner for you.
- Remember our Annual Meeting will follow play on Saturday. Please be ready to participate in this important meeting.
COWAN CREEK TOURNAMENT SPECIFICS
All players are responsible for knowing tournament specifics both days, including Pairings, Assigned Tees, Flights, Starting Holes, and Rules of Play. This information will be posted at the Cowan Creek pro shop before the start of play.
All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 7:30 as we’ll be heading to our starting holes by 7:45.
Jeff Bowman, Jeff Jones and Chris Wadle will be the Directors in charge of this event assisted by Eddie Nunez. Please direct tournament questions or concerns to them.

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST: Sunny and high 80’s. If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (512-948-7580) after 7:00 on tournament day for status of play.
DRESS CODE: Cowan Creek dress code is consistent with upscale courses. We ask our members to dress appropriately both days. They are a Soft Spike facilities.

Our PACE of PLAY at Morris Williams was excellent. All groups were in within 15 minutes of each other , the first group round time was 4 hours and 24 minutes. We thank all players for their efforts.
Our next tournament is at Roy Kizer, Medal format and the second round of the Fedex. The points earned at Kizer will be added to the points earned through the Morris Williams round.
There was a Texas Longhorns putter cover found at Morris Williams – let us know if you lost one.
