Vaaler Creek Tournament Results

Vaaler Creek results are now available.

  • CTGA welcomed New Members JOSE CASTILLO and APRIL McALISTER to our Vaaler Creek tournament.
  • NOTE ABOVE that Colovista will be our last tournament until January 23.
  • Our Pace of Play at Vaaler Creek took a step back as we had several foursomes finish well over 5 hours.  Vaaler Creek slipped several general public groups in between our foursomes, so it was difficult to determine if the cause of our delays were self-inflicted or the result of the course being slowed by added foursomes.
  • We will discuss this issue with Colovista in the hopes that they won’t allow general public foursomes to start within our event.

  • Despite the high winds (up to 25 mph), our Roy Kizer Pace of Play was excellent as all foursomes completed play within 10 minutes of our Target Time.  The Roy Kizer staff instructed their Player Assistants to not address Pace issues with players as they expected the winds to be a major factor and cause delays.  We thank all players for your efforts.
