This information will be posted at the Vaaler Creek Patio prior to start of play.

 

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 8:30 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 8:50.

 

Kevin Lowe, Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT:  Individual Medal Play

 

SHOTGUN START:  9:00

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   We have Deuce Carryovers in BOTH Trash Flights this event.  See the attached Carryover information for details.

 

TEES TO PLAY:

Men Flights 1-3 play BLUE Tees

Men Flights 4-6 play WHITE Tees

All Ladies play RED Tees

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #9 & #12;  2nd Trash Flight - #5 & #15

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #4 and #17.

 

VAALER CREEK DRESS CODE…Their Dress Code is consistent with Country Club dress requirement, so please dress accordingly. They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST calls for partly cloudy, breezy and temp in the low 50’s at start time and climbing to the low 60’s by finish time, so dress accordingly.  If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (830-833-0706) or Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) after7:30 on tournament day for status of play.

When you enter into Rockin' J Ranch you will drive through the gate and proceed past the sales office. Approximately one mile past the gate you will come to a 4-way intersection.  If you are only going to the practice range, you will turn right.  If you are going to the golf shop to play, you will continue straight through the intersection another 3/4 of a mile until you come to Jeff Vaughn Road. Turn right and you will drive 1/4 mile and the golf shop will be on your right.

 

Make sure you give yourself ample time to get to Vaaler Creek.  Plan on about an hour to drive the 47 miles from the Hwy 290W / Hwy 71 junction in South Austin.
