Roy Kizer Tournament Specifics

Roy Kizer pairings are now available.

  • The Jimmy Clay – Roy Kizer driving range is now closed for repairs, so don’t plan on hitting balls before play on Saturday.
  • We again ask all CTGA players to PLEASE CALL THE GOLF COURSE (512-444-0999) or EDDIE NUNEZ (512-797-0566) if a conflict arises Saturday morning and you are unable to play in this tournament.
  • At this time we have room for 3 more player on a first come basis.  If your plans have changed and you would like to play, please let us know ASAP.
  • We will ask the Roy Kizer Player Assistant to help our players maintain our expected Pace of Play target.  Please do your part to make this happen.

This information will be posted at the Roy Kizer pavilion prior to start of play.

 

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

 

Kevin Lowe, Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT:  CHICAGO  See the Format guidelines in the attached Pairings.

 

Again, first Tee Time for this event is 10:33.

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   A large Carryover in the 2nd Deuce Flight.  See attached Carryover information.  If those who have opted out of Roy Kizer Deuces want back in, just let us know.

 

TEES TO PLAY:  Refer to Pairing Sheet

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #4 & #13; 2nd Trash Flight - #8 & #15

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #4 and #18.

 

ROY KIZER DRESS CODE:  No specific dress code, however, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with Country Club dress policy.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST at this time shows a better than 50% chance of rain at tournament time.  This does, however, also means that there’s a fair possibility it won’t rain. Let’s be “Optimistic”.  If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (512-444-0555) or Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) for status of play.
