Delaware Springs Tournament Specifics

Delaware Springs pairings are now available.

  • With more than 60 players for this tournament, Delaware Springs has changed our start time from 8:30 to 8:00.  Set your alarms 30 minutes earlier and make sure you allow ample travel time to Delaware Springs.  
  • (We again ask all CTGA members to PLEASE CALL THE GOLF COURSE (512-756-8471) or EDDIE NUNEZ (512-797-0566) if a conflict arises Sunday morning and you are unable to play in this tournament.
  • At this time we have room for more player on a first come basis.  If your plans have changed and you would like to play, please let us know ASAP.

This information will be posted at the Delaware Springs pro shop prior to start of play.

 

All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play no later than 8:00 as we’ll be going to our starting holes at 8:20.

 

Kevin Lowe, Scott Preece and Steve Barnes will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them.

 

FORMAT:  Medal Play

 

Again, this is an 8:00 SHOTGUN START

 

TRASH FLIGHT CARRYOVER:   No Carryover in either Trash Flight this event.

 

TEES TO PLAY:

Men Flights 1 & 2 play BLACK TEES

Men Flights 3 & 4 play BLUE TEES

Men Flight 5 plays WHITE TEES

Lady Flights 1-3 play GOLD TEES

Lady Flights 4-6 play RED TEES

 

CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #7 & #16; 2nd Trash Flight - #5 & #13

 

KODAK CHALLENGE HOLES:  #7 and #15.

 

DELAWARE SPRINGS DRESS CODE:  No specific dress code, however, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with Country Club dress policy.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 

SUNDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   You’re in for a great time if you like the temp in the low-80’s and partly cloudy.  If the weather does turn bad, call the golf course (512-756-8471) or Eddie Nunez (512-797-0566) for status of play.
