Lions Tournament Specifics

Lions pairings are now available.

AN IMPORTANT REMINDER:  OUR PACE OF PLAY OBJECTIVE IS FOR ALL FOURSOMES TO COMPLETE OUR ROUND IN UNDER 4 HOURS 30 MINUTES .

·         Start Time

·         Assigned Tees:  All men play from Blue Tees and Ladies from Red Tees

·         CTGA Conditions of Competition

 All players should be at the course, signed in and ready to play at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

 Steve Barnes, Steven Leonard and Scott Preece will be the Directors in charge of this event, assisted by Eddie Nunez.  Please direct tournament day questions or concerns to them. 

 FORMAT:  Medal Play

 1st TEE TIME:  10:32

  TRASH FLIGHT CARRY-OVER:  A good Carry-over in the 2nd Deuce Flight.  Sharpen your putting skills for this one.  See attached Carry-over sheet for those who must Buy-In to the Carry-Over pot.

  CLOSE TO PIN HOLES:  1st Trash Flight - #7 & #17;    2nd Trash Flight - #4 & #13

 CTGA CHALLENGE HOLES:  #8 and #16.

 Lions Muny has no dress code.  However, CTGA requests all players to dress consistent with upscale country club dress requirements.  They are a Soft Spike facility.

 SATURDAY WEATHER FORECAST:   It looks like a great day for our first event of the new year…consistently cool (52°) for the entire round with spotty clouds and a slight breeze.  I’m on a roll, so hopefully we won’t be jinxed.  If the weather does turn bad, we’ll will send a note on both REMIND and email after 9:00 Saturday morning.  If conditions aren’t favorable and you don’t hear from us, call me at 512-797-0566 after 9:00.
