The door prize ticket of Member-Guest Team of Elliott Reyes and Ralph Reyes was drawn for the 2 dozen Titleist NXT S golf balls. Congratulations Elliott and Ralph.

Take away the 25+mph winds and the day was almost perfect. We’re getting closer to more desirable weather and we look for continuing great turnouts.

Yesterday was the first time in the past 3 years that the Roy Kizer staff complained about CTGA slow play. Looks like our Pace of Play initiative took a major setback. The winds may have contributed to the problem, but we can’t use that as an excuse. Our tournament was 2+ holes behind the last public 4-some before our event. We’ll try to find out where the problems were and see what we can do to correct them.

Congratulations to our Roy Kizer Flight Winners….

1st TEAM FLIGHT: 1st Place: Eddie Nunez (76) and Helen Friar (91) with 20 Team Points

2nd TEAM FLIGHT: 1st Place: Mike Cearley (83) and Scott Preece (86) with 22 Team Points

Also Congratulations to…..

  • Scott Preece who had the only Deuce in the 2nd Trash Flight.
  • Eddie Nunez with the only Skins (2) in the 1st Trash Flight.
