Type:
Individual Competitions

A format based on points, similar to Modified Stableford and Quota. In this format, golfers begin their rounds with a specific amount of “Negative Points” based on their handicaps (see below). During the round, Positive Points are awarded on each hole: Bogie – 1 point, Par – 2 points, Birdie – 4 points, Eagle – 8 points.

Player handicaps are used only to determine the beginning Negative Points. All Positive Points will be awarded based on actual scores made on each hole.

The objective is to get as many Positive Points as possible and clear your hurdle (the term used for your starting total of negative points) by as much as possible. The player with the highest point total within each Flight wins that Flight. Second highest point total wins 2nd place, etc.
